Day 11 part One
Fall 2006 we went to the Black Hills of South Dakota so she could see Mt. Rushmore and Crazy Horse (work in process by a Polish Artist and his family (he has since died but
the family continues the work.)) We also saw Custer’s Last Stand at Little Big Horn, and biked on the mountain trail to see all the different battlefields. (That was great
exercise.) We continued south to Yellowstone National Park and saw a great fall color change in process as we went through the mountains. We experienced probably the first
snowfall of the fall, and got to see lots of God’s handiwork unfold in front of our eyes.  We saw lots of wildlife as we drove down the Wildlife Loop highway in the Custer State
Park in the Custer National Forests. (Think Totonka!) We continued on to Arches National Park and saw many new beautiful things that we were not aware of. We continued
down through Monument Valley to the Grand Canyon, and saw the much bigger picture of how God can be very creative. We also were privileged to see the return of the
condor to the Canyon Park, which makes perfect sense for the birds to flourish there in the very large open space that has many unreachable areas that man can only see,
and not ruin by touching. We returned with over 3000 digital pictures that are terrific, and have lots of post card quality shots.
